Within NATO military exercises “NATO's immediate response-19”, which is being held in Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary from May 10th through June 6th, reports of the arrival at the port of Zara of two Croatian Marine Corps ships, “Krka” and “ <secin <6>>, of which several hundreds of members of Albania's Armed Forces and the Kosovo Security Force with 23x<7> are now reporting Croatian news agency <x>, Koha>.
As the ship's commander “was quoted DBM-82: Krka”, Davor Alujevic, “this is the first time that Croatia's war force ships will be transported to Albania and Kosovo's country-based forces at the port of ally state, from Durres Port” respectively.
The Croatian news agency, “Hina”, points out that “after landing in Gazhenica, those ground-road forces will be transported to the military range {Eugen Kvaternik] to Sllunji (Croatia)”.
The Croatian Defence Ministry announced yesterday that in military exercise “the current answer - 19” has become the American forces' department at the Slunji military range.
“Hina” suggests that Croatia's Defence Ministry emphasises that among 1,600 soldiers participating in training from Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, the US, Albania, Montenegro, Poland, France, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Northern Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and Germany are also members of Kosovo's armed forces, Coha.net broadcasts.
It also points out that this exercise has been planned and headed by the American Forces Command for Europe (USEUCOM), with the aim of training the forces of member states of the A-5 Initiative.
In this initiative, bearing the name of both the American-Adriatic Charter, members are Albania, Croatia, Northern Macedonia, Montenegro, BiH and the US. The Kosovo Armed Forces have been invited for the first time to an event.
We remember that yesterday, the MSF announced the launch of an KSF contingent to participate in the field exercise organised by the American Army for Europe (USAREUR) that implements joint field exercise with NATO states and partner states, called “Immedia Response -19x2> (Right Answer-19).
The KSF is participating in this exercise with 45 members of the Third Battalion of the Fast Response Brigade and Demining Team (EOD). The exercise will take place from 20 May to 8 June 2019 in Croatia and Hungary.
The exercise will be carried out with the execution of field exercises at the battalion level, which will include waiting, concentration of troops, moving away and integration, with the main aim of interacting at the tactical level, among the armies of participating states.
“Security Force participants participate in various bilateral and multilateral training, both within and abroad, in order to be as prepared as they are, to operate and work in multinational combined environments as well as to share experiences with partner states”, the MSF said yesterday.
