The report was approved by 145 votes for, four against, meanwhile, 13 MPs have not voted. Part of the Serbian opposition has not participated in the work of the Parliament.
Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq during the two-day discussions of the report in Serbia's Parliament has said “Serbia must admit that it has lost control over Kosovo and that it must find compromise with Pristina to normalise reports”.
MPs have discussed the report, which has 82 pages and on which data on 17 pages is presented on dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina from 2013 to May 2019, while the rest present the most important “results of the Kosovo office from May 2014 to 2019”.
The report says that dialogue in any direction has worked for the interesting Serbs, as well as during the period of talks has been managed to preserve calm in Kosovo and beyond.
Talks between Kosovo and Serbia on normalising the reports began in 2011. The parties have accused each other of failing to implement agreements reached within this dialogue.
The Serbian side has withdrawn from the dialogue on normalising relations with Kosovo, since this one, in November last year, has taxed 100% of the goods imported from Serbia.
Vuciq has said he will not resume the process, which started in 2011, until this tax remains in force, but Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has insisted that it will not be removed until Serbia recognises Kosovo.
