Police in Turkey stormed the ban on the parade of pride, “already creates rainbow”
The method for dissemination of the crowd was made unintentionally to symbolize resistance, if this photo is to be trusted in Taksim Square in Turkey during yesterday's gay parade of pride.
Turkish police used water cannons and rubber bullets against those gathered in downtown Istanbul, though the parade had been peaceful last year, writes Independent, translates Periscopi.
Participants were injured by these water cannons, according to Hurriyet Daily, although one of the protesters made a survey showing that all the police did created a rainbow that is also the symbol of this group.
We couldn't verify the image, which has probably been processed with Photoshop, but has been widely distributed in Turkey, however. /Periscope
