MBPZHR Continues With Investment in Agriculture Development

During this year the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development will continue with support policies for farmers throughout the country, thus affecting the further advancement of the agriculture sector.

So said MBPZHR Minister Dijana Zivic, during the presentation of the Agriculture and Rural Development Programme and the Direct Pay Programme before farmers, farmers' associations and other interest parties in the Pristina region. In this case, she has announced that calls for applications for these programmes have already been opened in which all Kosovo farmers can apply.

She told them about it. The PBZHR ministry has earmarked a budget of 20.5m euros, meanwhile, for the 25m-euro subsidies programme.

In this case, the minister has called on them to apply on these support programmes, through which she stressed that they are aiming to increase agricultural productivity, modernisation of the agriculture sector, as well as opening new jobs.

Otherwise, the presentation of this programme included the deputy ministers of the MBPZHR, as well as officials of the Rural Development Department, which in detail have informed farmers of this year's support measures.
