The LDK leader, Isa Mustafa, met with Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurtin this morning. Two opposition party leaders in Kosovo discussed organising no-confidence motion against coalition government PAN”, announce this party.
Here's the rest of the announcement coming from the LDK:
“The LDK, in November last year, had approved the Electoral Platform, stating that institutions derived from the general elections of 2017 are not doing their job in the country's interest and strengthening the consolidation of the state of Kosovo, that the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo has become dysfunctional and that the government of the ruling coalition does not represent the majority in the Assembly. Consequently, the LDK estimated that the country should go to the polls through the vote of no confidence in the current government or through the distribution of the Assembly, requiring all LDK bodies full and comprehensive commitment to early general elections. Mr. Mustafa and Mr. Kurti estimated that despite the fact that LDK and LVV parliamentary groups co-ordinated opposition activity against harmful governance and a host of scandals of this government and this coalition, the situation in Kosovo is deteriorating. High corruption, unemployment, nepotism and the departure of people from Kosovo are the best evidence the country needs a responsible new government. In the following days, parliamentary groups will act on organising the motion”, the announcement said. /Periscope.
