The Obilic Municipal Assembly has held an extraordinary session regarding the implementation of Obilic's law and the Government's decision to employ residents of this part in the Kosovo Energy Corporation.
During this session, the municipal assembly decided to call for suspension of the latest competition in KEK and file charges against this corporation due to its failure to adopt the Obilic Law.
Obilic Mayor Dzafer Gashi said neither the Law for Obilics nor the government's decision is being respected by KEK.
According to him in the KEK employment competition residents of this area have been neglected and no priority for employment has been given, as promised.
Numerous applications were between the chairman Gashi and the Vetvendosje Movement Asamblist, Aziz Bic, who said such sessions are trying to manipulate him with the residents of Obilic.
In his replica the Obilics chairman asked to be united and not to use this session for political purposes, but to find a solution to the problems of residents.
The head of the Democratic League of Kosovo Group, Shaip Paloja, said the law on Obilic is not a gift to residents of this part, but a gift to someone undertook.
He also pointed out that the Law on Obilics is not being implemented at all.
This session included Hades and Shirley residents who expressed their concerns about employment in KEK.
On behalf of the Shipilla residents spoke to Shaban Krasniqi, who said they are feeling discriminated against in terms of employment, he said it was their only requirement in exchange for not interrupting electricity.
On behalf of Hades' inhabitants, Asamblist of the AAK, Labinot Mirna, who also warned protests in case they did not meet their demands.
