Granit Jaka wants to win Europe League for teammates

Granit Jaka along with Socratis Papastathoopoulos has held a media conference ahead of today's European League final (May 29th) between Arsenal and Chelsea.

London's duo and team have said they will try to win the second largest race in Europe for clubs for Henrik Makkitaryan.

The Arsenal striker has not travelled to Baku due to heated reports between Armenia and Azerbaijan, so he will lose the final.

The Armenian attacker has remained in London, not risking his trip to Baku, as he could be arrested by Azerbaijani authorities.

We're obviously disappointed that he's not here with us, but I think we're going to do a lot for McChitaryan. Now it's time to talk about football”, Jaka said.

He's very important to us and we want to give him a trophy. We've been twice in the League of Europe and clubs like Arsenal should be on the Champions League”.

It's a very important game for us, since we want to qualify the club for the Champions League, which is our top priority”, the Arsenal midfielder said.
