Will there be an earthquake after heavy rainfall in Macedonia? What Sismologists Say

Coincidence or not, in 2016, following heavy rainfall and floods at Hasanbeg, a series of earthquakes were presented in Macedonia. But how much more so that the current impacts of earth have been caused by the relatively few rainfall in recent days?
From the Seismological Institute in Skopje, they say that despite scientists' attempts to link the rains and floods to earthquakes, this has not yet been proven.
According to them, science has not yet been able to accurately predict earthquake presentations.
“is constantly done research to see links to or whether there is links between rainfall or earthquake floods. So far, science has not said the last word, however, what can be said is that different scientists and different institutes tend to investigate whether there is a connection between these two phenomena- declared Radmila Shaliq” Disaster management and risk sector leaders.
However, according to the Risk and Disaster Management Sector near the Seismological Institute, Northern Macedonia's territory has five areas of higher risk for earthquake presentations.
According to recent international research, Skopje area, Debar, Ohrid, Pehcheva and Vallandova are the permanent risk zones for earthquake presentations.
“We all need to show that Macedonia is located in the southern part of Europe, which is marked by higher risk of earthquakes, or said there is higher risk of presenting earthquakes to other parts of the continent. Earthquakes are natural phenomena, we cannot prevent their performance but we can learn how to live with them” Add Radmila Shaliq leader of the disaster and risk management sector
Seismological Institute says that in the inability to predict earthquakes, tests are based on earthquakes that occurred in the past.
The compiled maps have been made in saps of the construction procedure in order to take preventative measures to reduce the effects of possible land fluctuations.
