Apostolova, during her morning visit to one of the polls in northern Mitrovica, said everything is well organised and that the election process is under way.

It also cited the beginning of an EU initiative regarding the election process.

“We recently managed to get a declaration signed by all political parties, including the Serbian List, and this initiative is empowering the election process in Kosovo”.

There are still technical problems that need to be solved, such as names on election lists, so it is very important that we continue with this” initiative.

Regarding the possibility of resigning that candidates for mayors from the Serbian List, as had happened in advance, Apostolova said he hopes they will have co-operation in the future.

“We are very busy with local governments, we have different projects, we have a range of projects dedicated to this part of Kosovo and I hope we will have plenty of time to work together”.
