Media “Dr.dk” has written a text for Albanians who attempt to enter the port illegally. He has even published a video showing young Albanians trying to get in the back of the trucks, which are placed on the ship and their destination has the promised “Land”, England.
Since summer, the number of Albanians hiding in trucks has increased at the port of Esbjergu, and they try to get illegally to Great Britain.

In the first three months of the year, 54 Albanians have been detained at the port of Esbjerg after attempting to enter England illegally.
For transporters “Henrik Skov Christensen”, which often exports food in trucks, there are huge financial consequences when people hide in cargo.
When they hide and sit between food for three to five days, foods break down”, says a “Henrik Skov Christensen” official.
The trip to the English Channel takes 18.5 hours. If Albanians are in the truck when they land on the English coast, big fines are also placed on the truck company where Albanians hide.
An Albanian, who has tried to leave Britain several times, has spoken of Denmark's media. Near the port is an abandoned house where Albanians are supposedly standing before trying to travel illegally to England.
After two three taps at the door of the abandoned house, it opens by a young man with dark hair and beard. The Albanian who wants to remain anonymous speaks of attempts he has made to cross illegally to Britain.

I've just tried it two or three times. A man here helped me. He gave me a place to sleep and offered me work”, the Albanian youth said.
Before the Albanian went to Denmark, he had attended high school in our country. Yet, he had not been a good student in school and had decided to emigrate.
I wanted to go to England because I liked the country. I've tried it before. It's not that I'm dreaming, but I think it's a better way of life there”, he said.
The problem with Albanians has led the Esbjerg port to increase security with cameras, higher fences with thorn wire and more patrols. Michael Fries, who is responsible for the safety of the port at Esbjerg Port, has spoken of this situation.
“The strings are cut and holes are created where they crawl beneath the thorn hedge. Once they enter, they look at the situation and wait for the truck cover, hiding inside them”, Michael Fries says.
Albanians can travel freely to Denmark because Albanian citizens can travel visa-free to EU countries. But Albanians have no right to enter Britain without being equipped with visas.
