31 State Officials Going to Venice With Public Money

220 thousand euros have been spent by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MKRS), for the 3-day trip to Venice Bienalen

All 31 officials of this ministry have travelled to the 58th edition of Venice Bienale, where Kosovo has participated in the “work. Family Album” of artist Alban Muja.

This time around, the guards of the artist who represented Kosovo were from the MKRS minister to his security official and personnel official.

According to the Culture Ministry's response to Gazeta Insander, all these MKRS and GKK officials have been involved in various ways in managing the process of preparing and finalising the participation of the Republic of Kosovo in the Venice Bienenalen.

While they have left open the possibility that there will be other payments, as their response says:

The total amount of payments carried out so far by the MKRS for participation in the Bienal is around 220,000, including the payment of the Kosovo Republic of Venice's lease. While the wages and other expenses have been paid to conform the regulations to power”, they are said to respond to the Isader.
