After the count of 29,6% of the vote, Pedro Sangez's Socialist Party (PSOE) has won 132 seats in the Spanish Parliament, while Mariano Rajoy's conservative PP party has lost half the 137 seats it had won in the 2016 elections in 66.
Turnout in these elections was very high, with about 74.41% of the population voting, broadcast El Pais, consigns Periscopi.
To form the new government, the winning party or coalition must have most seats, so it must win more than 175 seats in the Spanish Parliament
