Sentenced to 25 years in prison, Liridon Uruki killed his friend last year

The foundation court in Gjilan has sentenced to 25 years in prison Liridon Uruki, who on July 28th last year has killed Fatlind Arifi.

By this act, defendant L. W. has committed criminal acts “serious assassination”, “characterisation” and “maintaining ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons, operations sanctioned with the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (KPRK).

After reviewing the paperwork and hearing of witnesses, the trial body of the Randa Department of Criminals has pronounced a conviction, for the criminal act “serious murder “has pronounced sentence 23 (twenty years in prison for “debacle” has pronounced a two-year sentence and for the work “ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”, has pronounced sentence of 1 (a year) imprisonment.

Based on Article 80 of the accused's KPRK, the court for three criminal acts has pronounced a unique sentence, in length of 25 (twenty-five) years in prison.

The same is continued with the detention measure until the integrity of this act.

The sides have the right to appeal to this decision at the Court of Appeals.
