For many people, the road to happiness is exhausting, and the more you give of yourself you take me away. This is what Elizabeth Gilbert says in her inspiring memo “Ha, Lutu, Dasuro”: “Happiness is the result of a personal effort. You fight for it, try for it, persist in it, and sometimes you have to go through the entire world to find it,” it writes.

While this kind of approach may work for do-do, recent scientific research says there may be very serious implications for other people that make them, for example, stressed, lonely, and feeling like losers.

These findings have helped explain the stress and frustration some feel during specific events such as their birthdays, Christmas, New Year's, the Great Bajrami and the Small Bayrami. But research has fundamental consequences for your long-term well-being, with useful help to arrange your broader intentions.

Self-help or self-impeding?

Iris Mauss, part of the University of California, was one of the psychologists who explored the idea scientifically.

She said it was inspired by the great volume of self-help books that were published in recent decenynes in America, many of which presented happiness as a central part of existence.

Along with Maya Tamir, Nicole Savino and Craig Anderson, Maussi tested the idea with a series of studies. A detailed questionnaire, for example, vices participants to rank such statements as:

How happy I am at what time it says a lot about the value of my life

To have a meaningful life, I must feel happy all the time

I value things in my life only as much as they affect my personal happiness

As expected, the team found that the more participants embraced these statements, the less satisfied they were with their current life, the Periscope further translates.

In her study, Mauss learned that the desire [or, illness] for happiness I can increase the feeling of loneliness and separation or attachment from other peopleMaybe because it makes you focus your attention on yourself and your feelings more than your appreciation of the people around you.

It further stated that many studies had found that people who had access to “admissions” to negative feelings rather than fighting all the time as enemies of our well-being eventually come out more satisfied with their lives. /Periscopi
