Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, in a direct connection from Berlin, has told KTV that the participating states at the Berlin Summit take seriously the issue of a Kosovo-Serbia agreement.
He, the Berlin Summit, called a turn in the region's developments for the fact that, according to him, there is already a more serious investment in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue issue.
Haradinaj has confirmed that there has been some pressure on everyone for the removal or suspension of the tax on Serbian goods.
“There has been a proposal or request to suspend the tax for a while, it has been a serious situation. [The heavy situation] was created by Chancellor Merkel, by Macroni, Prime Minister Rama, President Thaci... all have been thinking that it is good to be suspended for a while to be given a chance for dialogue. They were not against me, but of a thought to give Chancellor Merkel and President Macron investment opportunities to suspend the tax”, Haradinaj said, Koha.net reported.
Speaking of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process, Haradinaj said this process has so far deviated and that the tax has been imposed as a consequence that Serbia has jeopardised the country's national security plan.
“We have had a process of dialogue, that dialogue process has strayed. He caused damage. The tax has been imposed as a safeguard clause since Serbia has endangered us in the national security plan. The solution is to the recognition agreement involving all other topics”, he said.
Kosovo executive head said the German Chancellor reaffirmed Germany's position that the border issue should no longer be opened.
“Merkel was very clear, it is not a solution to the discussion of territories and borders because the big question step. Germany has confirmed its continued stance, which does not allow movement with territories at borders. There has also been agreement of all who will not be discussed further on borders, but talks will focus on mutual recognition”, Haradinaj said.

Haradinaj also spoke of the meeting with the US ambassador to Berlin, where he said he talked about the necessity of the US being guarantor of an agreement with Serbia. It's of interest to the guarantor role of America”
For visas, Haradinaj said a clearer stance is expected in June.
There is no right to free movement. They are aware that Kosovo has carried out its conditions. They know the decision is on them. Currently are elections for The EP, in late May, does not expect a clear stance. I will now meet with Germany's Interior Minister. I think in June we will have more clarity as to how the process of decision on visa liberalisation will go,”, potential Haradinaj in this statement for KTV.
