Recent results in northern Macedonia: Pendarovski and Siljanovska in runoff, Blerim Reka gets few votes

Based on the results of the KSHZ by 11:30, from 3512 pollings to a total of 3404 polling, or percentages 96,92 out of a total of 696 467 processed and valid candidate Blerim Reka has received 75 915 or 10,43 per cent, Siljanovska has received 309 799 or 42,55 and candidate Stevo Pendarovski has received 310 751 or 42,68 per cent.
Invalid ballots have been issued 3185 ballots.
In the second circle, the majority Albanians are expected to support Pendarovski, taking into account VMRO-DPMNE policies.
The elections are characterised by a low voter exit of 39.71 per cent. The predominantly Albanian municipalities have particularly marked the lowest voter exit, in contrast with Macedonian settlements.
The president is elected by popular vote, while the competencies he has are limited and largely ceremonial. A contestant to win the election in the first round needs half of 1 million of 808 thousand votes.
Stevo Pendarovski of the Social Democratic League, supported by the Democratic Union for Integration and other ruling coalition parties, Blerim Reka supported by Albanian opposition parties Alliance and Movement Besa, as well as Gordana Siljanovska Davkova and VMRO- The DPMNE was the three racers who targeted the presidency.
The two most votes pass in the May 5th runoff. And in order for elections to be valid in the runoff, 40 per cent of voters must participate.
