North elections: PDK for victory only, Vetevendosje satisfied with turnout

Two Albanian parties will participate in the elections, which will be held in the four northern municipalities except for the Serbian List, and Vetevendosje and PDK have joined the race to rule with any of these four municipalities in the northern part of Kosovo. Two Albanian parties to participate in elections to be held in four northern municipalities
In addition to the Serbian List, Vetevendosje and PDK have also taken up the race to govern with any of these four municipalities in the northern part of Kosovo.
Although these municipalities are inhabited by a total Serb majority, Albanian parties do not have great expectations for the outcome.
PDK candidate for northern Mitrovica Gonge Caushi tells news that she expects the number of Albanian voters in the north to rise.
She even hopes the PDK will win in this election.
“I expect the number of Albanian voters to increase in turnout, taking into account that some of the Serbs will not come to the polls. I expect victory in a fair and democratic process. I also expect that other communities, including those Serbs, will trust my vote and come out to vote”, have said of the news.net.
She says that the PDK in northern Mitrovica is the largest subject, and that it is the only one who has two ambistics thanks to the citizens' faith and their work.
The Purpose of The PDK is building houses and returning Albanians to their usurped properties.
“The PDK has been the only party that has been in power in southern Mitrovica that has shown interest in the north as well. This is actually evidenced by the construction of over 200 houses, the delivery of free stock exchanges and transport”, Caushi said on news.net.
Less expectations than the PDK in this election process has the other Albanian party Vetevendosje.
The MEP of this subject, Ismail Kurteshi of news.net, says the expectation of eventual victory is small when the composition of the population there is known.
It also criticises institutions that, after the expulsion of Albanians to the north, no one has ever dealt with the issue.
And if you want to win in one of these municipalities, you know, when you know what the population's doing there, it's probably the results. After the late expulsion of Albanians after the war, now Albanians there are in the minority, so there is very little to hope that we will win any municipality. It is important to be part of the race and ultimately to see what is the Albanian electoral force in that area”, says Kurteshi for news.net.
We stress that the four northern municipalities were left without a leader following the decision to resign four Serbian leaders.
Whatever the case, the outgoing mayors did not spend a day working for four months receiving their salaries and cost the state budget nothing less than 20 thousand euros.
