Kosovo Assembly Deputy Chairman Xhavit Haliti has indicated whether Kosovo today is the state he idealised 20 years ago.
I'm telling you, 20 years ago, I thought we'd have a war commitment to achieve what has now been achieved, before 20 years of 20-x1.
“Anyway, given the experiences of other countries where there has been fighting and taking the step faster, even with Kosovo something extraordinary is not likely.”
We haven't used as much resources as we've had available to the International Community after the liberation of”.
“Man for the country, home, family, people and his nation think all the best and the better it becomes”.
The one in Eyes 7 in Klan Kosova has said that Kosovo, compared to European countries, is behind, but will develop.
When you compare with reaching countries in the West that have had independence for a long time, Kosovo is behind them. This does not mean that Kosovo will not draw close to European countries with issues that can be compared to”.
“This is not the tragedy that Kosovo” is in.
But what is Xhavit Haliti proud of after Kosovo independence?
I would not say what makes me proud of the fact that I think that proud should be any Albanian with achievements in Kosovo”.
I think it's not about the individual. Man is proud of the achievements of the country, family and circle where he comes from, but what makes me happier is that we have freedom and are trying and will soon become an integrated part of the EU”.
Our option is Western, and freedom of action is good. This is the pride of every Albanian”.
“Anyway that there can be also despair, like any person who has his own despair”.
Haliti has also shown what was the most difficult moment he has experienced being in the post of deputy head of the Kosovo Parliament for a long time.
“I don't consider it a serious situation, but I think it's hard for Kosovo and it's heavy when institutions aren't functioning”.
All that bothers me is that there's some deal. Also, there is little co-operation between political forces when Kosovo's great interest is at stake, and above all, I am hampered by the vicious war that sometimes prevails in power, under the circumstances that Kosovo”.
I understand political war in another country, even in the countries of the region, where they don't have the problems we have at”.
“We are still in the process of recognition and integration into international institutions, so I think we should be focused on some issues where we should have permanent agreements”.
