The Vetevendosje movement considers the delay in elections in the north political background.
MP Albulen Haxhiu calls the election process legal, but not the five-month delay.
“We continue to have uncertainty because until now the election proclamation has been provided. In this sense in fact, we as the Vetevendosje movement, of course, have seen as a whole legal process, but the delays have not been explained why this process has been postponed for up to five months. What we're worried about is that by recognising President Thaci we can't have full confidence that this scenario, with these elections he didn't see behind himself any of his” project, Haxhiu told RTV21.
In the extraordinary elections in Kosovo's four eligible northern municipalities, there are 58 thousand and 520 voters, with a margin of 1507 more voters compared to the local elections of October 22nd 2017.
