The summit is being held in Berlin, called by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron, who are officials of the summit that have gathered leaders of Balkan countries. Taking the trigger and example of the Agreement reached between Northern Macedonia and Greece after a long-term proposal for the name issue, Merkel and Macron would gather presidents and prime ministers of all Balkan countries in Berlin, writes Periscopi.

What happened on the first part of today in Berlin?

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, at a joint conference in Monday's morning hours, have spoken briefly to the media. This conference, they have held after the meeting they held at the Kosovo Embassy in Germany, writes Periscopi.

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj was asked about the draft circulated in the media about what would be called a joint statement by the summit, which he said briefly that no one yet told us anything.

And President Thaci, journalists asked how Haradinaj's statement commented, who from Berlin thanked Merkel for her position on the idea of borders. Thaci was also short, but with the message that the US saw nothing is done in dialogue with Serbia.

And the Valley will join Kosovo, and so...

Since it was a long time since Thaci and Haradinaj were not seeing together at least not at a conference in Berlin, journalists asked the first pair of state if they had coordinated their actions to Berlin. They will not answer them. Meanwhile, journalists responded to themselves, saying they seem to have been coordinated.

While Thaci and Haradinaj were continuing to be interviewed by prestigious international media, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq was also flying through foreign media. His messages were, that Serbia will not continue the dialogue without taxing” being removed. When we are on the tax, President Hashim Thaci was also in focus of the media with a statement exactly about the tax, where he says that if Serbia does not change, measures will have to be added to it.

It has also been Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, who has been presented from Berlin with the message that Kosovo will be the main focus of this meeting”.

First meetings with Merkel and Macroni

It was President Hashim Thaci who published the first photos with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron.

After him, even the prime minister Ramush Haradinaj publishes photos from the first meeting, and after them Serbian President Alexander Vuciq.

Later, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci would also publish a photograph within the summit opening of the summit, where he also published parts of his speech at the summit's opening.

There, Thaci tells participants that it is very important to continue the Kosovo dialogue, Serbia, but that one of the first decisions the EU must make is visa liberalisation for Kosovo.

At the opening of the Berlin Summit, I talked about regional co-operation and reconciliation. The situation and relations are low, so under such circumstances many good initiatives from the Berlin Process have remained unfulfilled. This bad situation cannot be overcome by mere claims and abstract promises. Bold decisions are needed by the countries of the region, which will not happen as long as there are no bold and strategic decisions by the European Union and member states. Even reconciliation will be impossible as long as Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina do not recognise Kosovo's independence. Germany and France are able to take leadership for these bold decisions. But one of the first decisions the European Union would have to make is visa liberalisation for our citizens. Kosovo has unjustly remained the most isolated country in Europe. Kosovo citizens are the most pro-European people in the region and it is very unfair to continue being discriminated against!”, Thaci called Facebook.

The Berlin Summit continues with all participants, where according to the many agenda published in Kosovo media, it is scheduled to end at 10 last night.Yes. /Periscopi/
