Beqaj, told Telegrafi that elections in these municipalities will bring nothing new.
Each action has been thought and orchestrated, and from these choices we will see Deja Wu. A policy which has been present so far and nothing new will be more or less the old actors in Serbia and our factor in Kosovo, which prepares the scenario to continue the dialogue as they are thinking and not as the main decision-making part in the EU is thinking, led by Merkel”, Beqaj stressed.
Beqaj, among other things, said that extraordinary elections in the north are a failure because the Vuciqi scenario, which requires that it resume its position and prevent Albanians from fulfilling them.
The elections cannot fail in any option in the north, but they are a failure because the scenario is repeating, which is why these elections are being held. No topic of content why they have resigned to northern municipalities has changed, nor why are they now willing to participate in the elections, there is nothing different. Vuciki's scenario has not changed, he wants to retake these same positions, and not allow Albanians to take those posts”, Beqaj said.
We stress that North Mitrovica leaders Zubin Potok, Leposaviqi and Zvecan, on November 27th in 2018, have resigned, rejecting the Kosovo government's decision to impose a 100% tax on products imported by Serbia.
