Basic rights of internationally recognised patients affirm and guarantee effective exercise by individuals for preventive medicine, access to services, information, consent, free choice, private life and privacy, respect for patient time, right to complain and receive compensation, etc.
Kosovo Patients' Rights Association The PRAK, as a member of the European Network of Patients' Associations, since 2013 and in Kosovo, celebrated the day of patients' rights on April 18th.
The celebration of this day is aimed at conscious citizens that they have rights in healthcare, but also in conveying the message to institutions that guaranteed rights with legislation should be respected.
On this day's note, today the Association of Patients' Rights in Kosovo hosts the Disputing Table on the “theme. Patient security and health care-related infections” at Hotel “Sirius” at 10:00.
