Agim Bahtiri bans private businesses on May 1st

He has made it known, Mitrovica municipality chairman Agim Bahtiri, at the meeting of the Board of Directors where several agendas, which are of interest to the citizens of the Mitrovica municipality, are discussed.

Bahtiri agreed with the executive that tomorrow, on the occasion of International Workers' Day “1 Mayi”, it will be a holiday for all businesses in the town of Mitrovica, except for cafes, drugs, bread ovens, gas pumps and restaurants.

Director of Geodeze, Cadaster and Property Egzon Jashari has announced the executive of law enforcement for the provision and exchange of real estate to the municipality, in particular the municipality's preliminary obligations and innovations the new law has brought.

The municipalities are tasked with publishing the general real estate list of the municipality as well as the specific property list planned for the next year. Also, municipalities should draft a municipal regulation for providing real estate use for the period up to a year”, director Jashar said, among other things.

While Inspection Director Hysni Ahmeti indicated that municipal inspectors in co-operation with the Kosovo Police on this weekend have inspected business subjects regarding the decision to respect working hours. He also said President Bahtiri's decision that Sunday will be a day of holiday for all businesses in Mitrovica is being respected in exact order.

During this gathering, director for Culture, Youth and Sports, Tafil Peci, briefed the board on the necessary preparations of the Science and Culture Fair, the 13th edition, which is organised by the “Franki Bardhhe” from the municipality of Mitrovica.
This fair will be held at the Culture Centre “Rexhep Mitrovica”, the Iber River, dated 2.3 May and 4 May.

At the end of today's meeting, Administration Director Hysen Muzliukaj, has announced that the Mitrovica municipality from Friday to the date 03.05.2019, will be done with the call center, where citizens will be able to call for free in the number 080019400, and may be notified of all municipal services, which affects increased transparency of the municipality.

Also, director Muzliukaj said that the service at the call center will be every day from Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 p.m. to 22:00.
