246 weapons have been legalised by 630 requests since campaigning to register illegal weapons in December last year.
That figure was revealed by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Izmi Zeka at the first co-ordination meeting for the guide's action plan about small and light arms.
Kosovo is committed to implementing this guide in the best way, during this meeting we will see a detailed meeting for the steps taken in this direction and future”.
Kosovo is successfully implementing a legalisation campaign that began on December 17th 2018 and will last until June 17, 2019, since the beginning of the campaign, 630 requests for legalisation of weapons have been received, while 246 consents have been issued, 630 weapons that were under illegal possession are currently under control”, he said.
