The opening of thousands of jobs for foreigners has turned Croatia among the top destinations even for Kosovars.
Since the beginning of this year, about 1,000 and 300 citizens from Kosovo have received residence and work permits from Croatia's Ministry of Internal Affairs, writes today “Koha Ditore”. Late last year, the Croatian government has adopted a decision on determining the annual quota for foreign employment for 2019.
At this country's Embassy in Pristina, they have indicated that the total quota for 2019 is 65 thousand work permits, including the continuation of existing permits. Out of them, 15 grand will be the continuation of existing permits, while 50,000 and 100 grand of new permits.
“The majority of permits are seen in the construction sector (17800) and in tourism and hotels (10.611), while for seasonal tourism are pre-5,000 permits”, they have told the newspaper at the Croatian Embassy.
“Zyra consular office (in Pristina v.j.) from the beginning of the year has received about 1,300 visa requirements on the basis of issuing residence permits and working by Croatia's Ministry of Internal Affairs”.
