Following the report by Kosovo Intelligence Agency Director Shpend Maxun to the Kosovo Intelligence Agency Supervisor Commission, Commission Chairman Faton Topalli said today's meeting at regular meetings with the AKI director and showed that the meeting was discussed mainly on the security situation in Kosovo.
“According to the report of the Kosovo security situation is beautiful, it tends to stabilise the situation, but AKI has informed the president, prime minister and is in co-operation with other state structures dealing with the security issue”, Topalli announced.
Among other things, Topalli said it tends to destabilise the country and these trends come from the neighbouring state, Serbia.
“About efforts to destabilise the situation in Kosovo are public, Serbia's state actions are to destabilise the situation in Kosovo. AKI has the duty to report to the prime minister and the country's chairman as well as the commission, Serbia's such trends are visible to the public and the country”, he added.
He also cited the deportation of Turkish citizens and said they are dealing with all mechanisms with violations that have been made in the process.
“In terms of AKI duties and competencies, there are violations, but with this issue, other state mechanisms are being taken and we expect in a short time to have results”, he said.
