Kosovo Telecom, for which Kohavision is currently reporting on party employment on it, has reacted through a communique sent to the media.
Arsim Bilalli, an information official at PTK, has submitted a response to the Kosovo Board of Directors of Telekom, which accuses Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Luka of “biased statements”.
The board also accuses the media, saying they are negatively affecting consumer satisphation and are directly damaging the company's business.
MZHE minister's political statements, Mr. Valdrin Luka, we believe they are very biased considering that Kosovo Telecom is in the period of taking very important decisions that enable normal business of the company in the future. Kosovo's Telekom is in the phase of reviewing the contract with Z Mobile, which for years has burdened the normal functioning of Kosovo Telekom and affecting financial business negatively with millions of euros. Currently Telekom has named the team that is negotiating with Z Mobile and we are constantly trying to be informed that an agreement will eventually be reached that will be convenient for the company”, the Kosovo Board of Directors' Response said.
The board says it is aware that the other issues being discussed are also important, but the financial impact is minority, compared to the real problems Kosovo Telekom has.
“We have consistently requested co-operation by Minister Luka, but in addition to not responding positively, it has not officially informed us of many issues, which are important to the board and company as a whole and have impact on the right decision making and the interest of Kosovo Telekom. Minister Valdrin Luka's statements, in addition, are damaging the company's business by influencing to lower consumer satisphation and doubt that these statements may also be linked to the privatisation process, which Minister Valdrin Luka has warned”, this Bord further declares.
In turn, Kosovo's Board of Directors of Telecom also mentions the media in general, without being specific by name, saying that they, by adding to the <x0).targing Kosovo Telecom and publicly attacking it are negatively affecting consumer satistrophy and are directly damaging the business of the company”.
The “also is of the utmost importance that many media, which are targeting Kosovo Telekom by publicly attacking it, let it be known that they are negatively affecting the consumer's satisphaci and are directly damaging the company's business. We hope that even media attacks (not all) are not for other purposes given that many of these media have in the past obtained multimillion-dollar contracts with Telekom”, further emphasis on this response.
In the end, Kosovo's Board of Directors of Telecoms urged those quoted above to refrain from such statements that, according to them, “are seriously damaging the future of Kosovo Telekom”.
“Detailing of Telekom business can serve the interests of various subjects that may have claims against and on Telekom, so we urge you to refrain from such statements that are seriously damaging the future of Kosovo Telecom”, the Kosovo Board of Directors concludes.
