Azem, when he returns 20 years later, remembers that evening as unfortunate but says he turned into a night of joy, KTV reports.
He relates the shock they had experienced when they heard the blasts, which they did not know from whom they came.
Azem's fate to survive the wounds did not include his brother, who was killed by Serb paramilitary forces.
After the first night of NATO bombings, Serbian forces had begun hardening attacks on the Albanian civilian population.
On the morning of March 25th, they killed 15 people only in the town of Podujevo, where two of them continue to be extinct.
During the 78 days of NATO bombings, Serbian police and military forces killed thousands of Albanian civilians, while about 1,000 and 600 people are still missing.
