Gavin de Becker was employed by Bezos to find out how his private messages were discovered in the “National Enquirer”.
De Becker linked the retaliation of Washington Post coverage for the murder of Saudi writer Yamal Khashoggi to the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul.
Saudi Arabia has not yet commented on these claims.
Bezos owns the Washington Post.
De Becker said he had delivered his findings to US federal officials.
