In a writing on the social network Facebook, they have called on parents from next week, from Monday, on the date 01.04.2019 Friday, to send their children to schools to replace lost hours.

The situation in this school year has reportedly reached a critical point where no one provides a reasonable solution.

According to them, it is extremely disappointing that no postwar government was firmly devoted to establishing quality in education.

The Pristina Community's Parents' Council, as the highest representative body of Pristina's parents, expresses disappointment because of its heavy condition in the pre-university educational system, which this school year has reached a critical point where no one is offering a reasonable solution. It is extremely disappointing that no postwar government was firmly devoted to establishing the quality of education. None of these were committed to improving student learning conditions and teaching conditions, nor were they committed to making schools safe, attractive, and motivating for children.

The inability and irresponsability of lawmakers to offer solutions to problems in education is no worse than what was seen in Parliament, where those who called extraordinary hearings to discuss lost classes taught the worst lesson by denigrating and insulting the representative of those who teach.

The highest state body, the Parliament, not only found no solution, and made no decision on what we hoped for, but it influenced the uncertainty between parents and students to grow even more, while the SBASK's MSTAT parties became even tougher.

In these conditions of unprecedented institutional responsibility, when school year's currency is seriously threatened, Pristina Community's KKP, being called to the legitimacy it dates from Administrative Guide August No. 28/2018 and the mandate approved by the Pristina Municipal Assembly, which legally and morally obliges the KP to stand up for students' rights after analyzing the attitudes of the Councils of Parents of Schools, which rightly oppose MART's decision to hold substitute teaching on Saturdays but have not refused to keep teaching during spring break, has ruled that:

Call on parents from Monday, from next week, on the date 01.04,2019 to Friday, on the date of 05.04.2019, to send their children to school, under regular school schedules, in order to complete five days of learning, planned according to the 2018/19 school calendar (MANT Administrative Direction, No. 11-18 for the 2018/2019 school year calendar;

Five days of learning, to be reproduced during the regular teaching process;

Five days of learning, be fulfilled, at the end of this school year, which, according to the planning of the upper UA, is meant to end as follows:

  1. By 16,05,2019 for 12th grade, as it continues until 23.05.2019;
  2. On the date 07.06.2019 for class 9,10 and 11, as it continues until 14,06.2019;

Three. On the day of 21.06.2019 for the Priories and 1-8s, as it continues until 28,06.2019.

Reason:

The KP decision of the Pristina municipality is the best compromise possible, between the two extreme positions: the ruling of the STAT (for 15 days of compensation that we have rejected, praising that the school calendar would be covered in a three-month period of time, which would affect health and physical and mental health damage), and the proposal that has been communicated to us by the Education Union at the level of the Communists for five days' compensation at the end of June, which the KP, in consultation with the education field, has assessed as insufficient for achieving the implementation of the second-day units;

Keeping the lesson during the next week does not charge children at a disturbing level, and parents, because during April we will have three official parties, two of which connects with the weekend and where children will have a space for a break and energy refresh;

School management and educators, with the decision of August 1st and April 5th, will be at work, so the KP in consultation with the DKA estimates it is unreasonable not to use this week to become a serious, and indispensable part of lessons lost during the strike;

Parents, educators, directors and officials of the DKA with full conviction appreciate that if compensation doesn't start next week, no other alternative will be productive and appropriate to realise the annual work schedule;

The Pristina Community's Parents' Council has been forced to come up with this option, as the main losers from the current situation are our children;

If we don't stretch out in time replacing lost hours, the children will be forced to undergo new teaching units and evaluation tests, which will harm them;

In summary, The KKP informs you that during the post-Greek period, we have met with representatives of the SBASK, who we've asked students to consider, with representatives of the United States who have asked to be responsible for the legal obligations they have and to create normal teaching conditions, and we have also held a number of meetings with DKA officials, who we have previously announced to our option, which is also acceptable to the Directorate for Education in the Pristina Committee;

It is the right of each parent whether to respect that decision or not, which is neither a decision to hate anyone or a protagonism, but it is an attempt not to be overlooked or neglected. It's an effort to encourage civic attitudes beyond the daily policy or personal resentment which, from experience, we know can last decades and cause inevitable consequences.
