Petrich: Pristina Must Take First Step to Continue Dialogue

Austrian diplomat Wolfgang Petritsch has said it is necessary to revive dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade and reach a compromise.

He praised that dialogue and compromise should come with EU help and, if necessary, both Moscow and Washington. However, he stressed, Pristina must take the first step to continue dialogue.

Petritsch, who is the former EU envoy for Kosovo, considers the tax imposed by Ramush Haradinaj's government is not the road to progress, as well as does not make a constructive contribution to Brussels' dialogue.
