After much controversy with 60 votes for, abstentions against and none against it have been adopted by the bill on closing the games of fate.
LDK Parliamentary Group chief Avdullah Hoti said this bill is not in line with the resolution voted in the Parliament, as far as uncertainty about continuing the work of Kosovo Lottari is concerned, he asked the government to bring the new lottery bill.
“I have analysed this bill is not in accordance with the resolution that was voted in the Assembly, which requires that Government initiate legal procedures for closing all fortune games, and bring the bill to this issue. The bill says Kosovo's Lottaria is allowed. To simplify the situation, the government brings the Kosovo Lottary Bill as the public institution”, Hoti said.
Vetevendosje Movement MP Arberie Nagavci backed the draft law on closing the game of fate, but sought to clarify the role of Kosovo Lottaria in the future.
It proposed an amendment to a particular provision that is prohibited from Kosovo Lottari from having contractual relations with legal-private subjects.
Remembering that Kosovo Lottaria is subject to legal-public law, we consider this particular article that prevents Lotharia from having contractual relations, or separate contracts with legal-private subjects”, MP Nagavci said.
From the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Safete Hardergj street supported the bill, until it sought caution to find the modalities for Kosovo Lottarina. However, in contrast, MP Nat Hasani from the same party sought not to create monopoly and close Kosovo's Lottaria.
