It is the first time that three cities share first place in the 30-year history of the Economist Intelligence Unit that compares data from 133 world cities.
The French capital, which was second last year, is one of two European cities in “Top 10”
The survey compares information on common matters, such as bread, transportation, tobacco, alcohol, to cutting off hair.
European cities tend to have higher expenses in domestic categories, personal care, recreation and entertainment, making them expensive cities to live for.
