LDK chairmanship race: Isa Mustafa prepares ground for top, intensifys attacks on Vjosa Osman

Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Isa Mustafa, through a publication on the social network “Facebook” on a anniversary of the vote on the Demarketing Agreement with Montenegro has attacked his party's most voted MP, the only party woman to risk the post of party one, Vjosa Osmani. [...]

In his message at a anniversary of the Demarkation vote with Montenegro by Kosovo Parliament deputies, from all of Mustafa has mostly attacked his party's deputies.

More precisely, the few MPs who rejected the Demarcing Agreement in all attempts at its vote during the time at the head of the Government was Mustafa himself.

Among the deputies strongly opposing Demarkation, the most vocal of the LDK was Vjosa Osmani, the most voted MP in Isa Mustaf's party. At the same time, the most voted MP in Kosovo.

The present - day message of Mustafa said that LDKA deputies who had so popularly opposed the demarcation when the LDK was at the helm of government, had been silenced today, and so lovingly voted when the LDK was ousted by the government.

This message, apart from Vjosa Osman, is dedicated to other LDK deputies, such as Arben Gashi, speeding up Ramiz Kelmendi's Bulliqi.

They were even publicly sceptical of the Demarketing Agreement, which cost the leader of their ruling party.

These LDK deputies, Mustafa asked who you lied to that now you're hearing a voice about the return of the border to Chuckorr and Zleb.

“Valla, I feel necessary but also responsibility before the opinion and membership of the LDK, to ask even some LDK deputies, the party that I lead, why so popularly opposed the demarcation when the LDK was at the head of the government, and so lovingly voted, when the LDK was brought down by the government. Why isn't your voice being heard today? Why are you asking for the border to be turned into the Jackarr and Juliet? What happened to you? Who lied to you? You agree, all of you, that you only had it for vote and power. You also admit the blame you took on citizens and deprived them of visa liberalisation because of your ego”, Mustafa wrote among other things on Facebook.

Strange is how Mustafa attacked some of his party's deputies just before holding domestic elections in the LDK for party chairmanship.

In the current context, this Mustafa attack sounds more like the scenario against MP Vjosa Osmani, whose name has been coveted as one of the party chairman's contenders. Although, there has been no official statement either by MEP Osmani or other party officials.

For this, Periscop tried to contact MEP Osman several times, but she has not responded.

Officially, it is still not known whether Isa Mustafa himself will again compete for the post of LDK's first post, following the health problems he faced recently, which affected his political scene.

But Periscop sources suggest Mustafa runs himself for a four-year term, aimed at preserving party unity.

But if that is impossible because of health problems, then he could delegate one of his most reliable people -- the LDK MP chief Avdullah Hoti, who also ran for prime minister in the recent parliamentary elections.

Thus, it seems that within the LDK there is a rift over names that will lead in the future with this party, not such a thing is trying to keep secret.

How did the Mustafan Demarket collapse, and how did it get through with the LDK deputies' votes?

The failure to secure enough votes for the passage of the Demarcing Agreement with Montenegro cost former Prime Minister Mustafa a collapse of power.

The government, Mustafa, collapsed on May 10th 2017, with the votes of MPs from the coalition partner, the Democratic Party of Kosovo, who voted the opposition motion.

The motion for the collapse of the government had received 78 votes, 34 against and three abstentions.

The demarcation agreement managed to pass during Ramush Haradinaj's rule, thanks to the votes of opposition LDK deputies.

The deal was voted on March 21, 2018, three years after its signing in August 2015 in Vienna.

The session for the Demarket vote was cut four times by the tear gas Vetevendosje Movement.

MPs from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Initiative were convinced of the signing of the Demarkation Agreement following the border review agreement Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovik signed.

The agreement between them was added to the agreement that MPs voted in the Assembly.

At the Demarket session, the pro-prose voted the LDK's controversial voices on this deal.

In their midst, MP Osmani also figures, who had once strongly opposed the deal that brought down Government Mustafa./ P ERISCOPIA
