Import prices rise in Kosovo by 2.2 percent

Import prices in the last quarter of last year have increased 2.2 percent compared to the quarter before. According to data from the Kosovo Statistics Agency published Thursday, this increase is even higher compared to last year for 3.89 percent, Koha Ditore writes today. [...]

The data shows that the largest price hikes in the last quarter of 2018 were for the skin and articles of 14.4 percent, living animals and animal products 8.5 percent, optical instruments, cameras, measurements, medical and music, and the 6.6 percent mechanisms, plant products 6.3 percent, mineral products 5.5 percent, machine equipment and electrical equipment 3.8 percent.

Import prices were also available for various items produced for about 3.8 percent, letters, and articles on it 2.4 percent.
