The asphalt of Novolan's 18-kilomometer road has begun, in which the government of Kosovo has invested about 2m euros.

This road, which was built in the time of the former Yugoslavia and in which it had not been exiled to take it even after the end of the war, had become a major problem for the inhabitants of many villages in that part, since the pits had become impassable even for vehicles.

The Vushtrri municipality at the time of governing Bajram Mukaku had demanded many times from the Kosovo government to invest in its reconstruction, but the issue had dragged on for a long time.

The issue of this road was extended to the Kosovo Assembly, and MP from Vushtrria Xhevahire Izamku, but further incumbent Chairman Xhafer Tahiri at a meeting he had had had with Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, as well as with Infrastructure Minister Paul Lekaj, had received assurances that they would divide tools for complete reconstruction of the road.

By April 2018, street work had begun, but winter had caught the entire truck without asphalt, so residents of these villages had sometimes protested, and once they had even blocked the Pristina highway ♫ Mitrovica, in Pestovo.

They demanded that the employee at least set up a layer of asphalt so that the inhabitants could move smoothly.

Disproportionate problems quickly overcome

Novulcan Mayor Agron Lushaku, who has always staged protests and has repeatedly demanded that things not be blocked, has said Friday that work on the asphalt of this road has begun, and for a short time the entire 18-killometer road will be paved. “Excavators have begun work on completing Novotin Street asphalt.

Just as it was warned days ago, today (Monday) work has begun to complete the R220 Novolan ♫ Glovotin” regional road management has confirmed, thanking the road project managers for making the work start early. He has appealed to the citizens of this section for problems with expropriation to be overcome as quickly as possible so that there will be no more impasse.

“As head of the village (Novolan) appeals to citizens to overcome barriers to expropriation, because any obstacles that emerge and any disagreement in starting those pieces will remain unaltered. So officials of the Ministry of Infrastructure have said, so I beg you to overcome those obstacles in the easiest way on R22”, Lusshak appealed.

He has reiterated that the difficulties in circulation as a result of the damaged Novolan road, Glavoti, have come to an end, and the road will soon be ready for free circulation.

For the realisation of the Novolan Street project, Glavotin has crashed several times. PDK and LDK, which has come to power with Chairman Xhafer Tahiri. While Vushtrri chairman Xhafer Tahiri stated that he had secured the Kosovo government's support for the construction of the Novolan-Glavoti Street -- 18km long -- and connecting 27 municipality villages to 2m euros, the PDK branch in Vushtrri insisted that the project of this road and some other projects are PDK. The 18-kilometer Street project Bukosh ãolotin, which connects 27 villages in the municipality of Vushtrri, has the cost of 1.9m euros, and these vehicles are provided by the Government of Kosovo.

For this road and several other infrastructure projects, Tahiri has received support from Infrastructure Minister Pal Lekaj and Prime Minister Haradinaj. It was in fact the signing of the memorandum of co-operation between Minister Lekaj and Prime Minister Tahiri for the start of construction of the Novolan-Glovot Street, the bridge in Pestova, as well as the Vushtrri justly Nadakovc é Pestovo Street and Stanoc Street Stanoc Mitrovica.

1.9m euros in investments

Otherwise, the Republika Kosovo Ministry of Infrastructure has invested 1.9m euros for the Nevolan road Glavoti as far as Prellugue.

The project was due to begin in 2017, when the Ministry of Infrastructure had promised 800 thousand euros and to be completed in 2019, but the project was beginning to take place in 2018 and is now rightly expected to complete the project this year, as planned, since road asphalt has already begun.

Meanwhile, works have been started in the construction of the auto segment Lummer Street Gojbula, which connects Pristina and Mitrovica.

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haraddinaj has described this road as one of the country's most strategic ways.

The “is one of the most strategic ways of our country that connects us to Mitrovica and to this strategic and economic area as well. It is an artery that can connect our country's economy with neighbouring economies”, Prime Minister Haradinaj has said, among other things.

On the other hand, even with this segment of the road citizens had major problems, so Xhafer Tahiri, chairman of Vushtrri, has demanded that things not cease until the entire project is completed.

Our citizens have had trouble running this street axis. We are very close to Pristina, but we have been waiting long for the start of this road.

I demand that the road be completed within the legal deadline and that we have no delays because we have problems with citizens. We provide support not to issue problems in implementing the” project, said Vushtrri Mayor Xhafer Tahiri, who has indicated the desire for the project to be completed by the time the Kurds come on vacation. / Z ERI/
