He fought with weapons of Adem Jashar, today he cares for the Memorial complex in Prekaz (Video)

Zecir Rexhepi from the village of Crez, where the first frontal war took place against Serbs, recalls the time when the commander had entrusted several weapons to his family.

He reports that the first contact with the Jashar family was discussed when the war began, and then those contacts were kept during the time that everything was boiling in Drenica.

And we've been told that it's too early to start the war now, that we've only started to form. We took two weapons from Adam, Yashar, and he said to his father: Aja Brahim, these two weapons have been used, made by taking these weapons to the family to go completely”, Zeqiri relates.

And weapons left in the hands of their family, Zeqiri says they used them to protect the commander. As he shows, he and his family had headed for Prekaz in the first story as well.

In the first siege of Adam Jashar, we've got weapons, uncle and brother, two machine guns they've had. We're going to Prekaz. Then we walked. And when the family of Adam Jashar was attacked on January 22nd, Brother Becir Rexhepi has gone to guard in Prekaz”, he adds.

But while times have changed, he continues equally to serve with honor, and he stands near Commander Adam Yasar.

On almost every day of his work as a policeman, he does work on the Memorial Complex in Prekaz, where the body of Adem Jashar and his family is resting.

During wartime, the weapons that were taken from Adam Jashar, we maintained and fought with them. Now, though, I serve my country again and have the gun I serve the state and my people”, he proudly says.
