Was British journalist killed at Arkan's order? Serb Suspected in Murder Speaks

Twenty years ago, famous British journalist Jill Dando was killed. The case wasn't over, and one of the theories was that she was killed on the order of Zelko Razhnatovic Arkan. Now, for the first time, a Serb, suspected by British police as her killer, gave an interview for “Daily Mail”.

The British newspaper did not publish its name, but he accepted an interview only under the nickname “Milan Mitrovich”.

“Mitroviq” is now about 60 years old and born in England. He acknowledged that he knows how to use firearms and, most importantly, has confirmed that he was questioned by Scotland Yard detectives, under suspicion that he killed Jill Dando of the BBC on April 26, 1999”, writes “Daily Mail”.

He spent most of his life on organised crime, four times he was in prison and committed his first theft when he was 17 years old.

According to “Daily Mail”, he is the only Serb still alive whose name was in investigating the journalist's murder. As such, he is the personification of one of Britain's most persistent conspiracy theories about murder and that Jill Dando's death was an act of revenge for Britain's involvement in the bombing of Yugoslavia.

The story of a possible Serbian “connection included MI5 and MI6 in “Operation Oxboro” The code name of the police for the Dando assassination investigation.

Among the 1400 names of potential suspects gathered from various sources, about 20 were of Yugoslav origin. These estimates were made by the Special Department and Security Services on behalf of Scotland Yard homicide division.

The detectives even interviewed a man claiming to be part of the Black Hand organisation “”, which is said to be behind the plot to kill Austrian crown prince Franco Ferdinand.

Why did Serbs want Dando's death? The answer to this is that on April 6, 1999, Dando had spoken to BBC1 about the situation in Kosovo and sought help for Albanian refugees who were being persecuted by Slobodan Milosevic's criminal regime.

Early on the morning of April 24, NATO hit the building of RTS, public television that was in service of the Serbian regime's dirty policy, while two days later Dando was killed on the eve of her home in Fulham in London.

“Daily Mail” on April 28, 1999, wrote that “Hill was killed by a paid Serbian mercenary?”

Later that week it was publicised that two weeks before the assassination, Jill had received threats from a Serbian “source, who had told her to stop seeking help for Kosovo.

Mitrovic was the son of Serbs who were part of the royal regime who had fled to England when the communists took control of Yugoslavia. He is born in England, but speaks fluent Serbian.

In the Bosnian war, he fought on the side of Serbs and seized opportunities to deal with business.

Mitrovich acknowledges that he had recognised the Aqira, at a bar in Belgrade. Despite the numerous recorded crimes of Arkan, “Daily Mail” writes that Mitrovic had insisted that Ark “was an honest man”.

I didn't kill the journalist. After that meeting, I haven't seen him in the Centraial”, Mitrovic claims, adding that Arkan had not ordered him to kill Dando journalist.
