Berisha: This year we're in Prekaz with our Army.

Defence Minister Rrustem Berisha has taken a look at the tomb of Legendary Commander Adem Jashar and the Jashari family in Prekaz, in honour of “NLA era.

The minister said this anniversary is more specific after being celebrated along with the Kosovo Army.

“We are here to honor all those who estimated that their lives, their families' lives, the freedom of the country is actually more expensive than the lives of their family and the legendary commander, the family and all the other martyrs we honor and remember today. The particular point of this anniversary is that this time we come with a new mandate, with a new mission, come as the Minister of Defence and with a military mandate, which is also the goal of these that we remember now”, Berisha said.

On March 5,6 and 7th of 1998, one of the most important battles of the Kosovo Liberation Army, where legendary Commander Adem Jashar and other members of this family have heroicly fallen.

In honour of the 21st anniversary of “The KLA era” today, the Assembly holds a solemn session, as well as in the afternoon, a memorial academy is held.

“The KLA age” ends tomorrow with Fire Night at the “Adem Jashari” in Prekaz.
