This man is very popular in the area: he calls himself “Okanagan Batman”. He's a superhero fan who dresses up like Batman for children's holidays and events with them. At the scene that day he arrived with his vehicle, which is black with the symbol of the bat on the back.
A local police spokesman said that in terms of Batman's presence at the site, “when an armed operation is under way, citizens must stay away from the area to avoid endangering their life”. Then he added: -“This man's getyst was foolish, for he put himself and the operation at risk”.
