But retirement is allowed on the basis of a 2008 Government decision that has postponed the age of pensioning professors at the age of 70.
Among the 68 UPA pensioners are former Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu, who continues to legalise at the Jurydic Faculty, even though this year turns 68.
And on the list of retired academic staff, the name of former Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa also figures.
And it's the Faculty of Education that has the largest number of retired professors.
Projector Myrvette Badivuk says this academic staff is useful for UP.
He says the law would have to remove the age limit for legalisation at UP.
However, the education connoisseur, Dukagjin Pupovci, suggests.
He acknowledges that there is no age limit to commitment at Western university, but Pupovci says such a thing should exist in Kosovo universities.
Popuvci says lack of kuadours and political influences have caused the UPP to need professors even after the age of 65.
