The lives of Kane Tanaka
Kane Tanaka was born on January 2, 1903, which was the same year that the Wright brothers had flown for the first time. She was the seventh child in the family and had five children with Hideo Tanaka, whom she first met on her wedding day.
In 1937, Hideo had been invited to military service, and yet Kane was more involved in the family business. She also raised the children and cared for Hideo's mother. Their first son, Nobuo, was also invited to serve in the army in 1943, where he had been captured but had returned home in 1947 after World War II. Kane kept working at the family store until he retired at 63 years of age.

Wake up early. Kane usually wakes up at 6:00 when she even starts her day.
