The union of Kosovo air controllers has announced it will launch an hour-long strike next week.
This was due to their discontent over their involvement in the Law for the Salaries.
The union, dubbed SINKON, announced that he was invited to the meeting yesterday by Infrastructure and Transport Minister Pal Lekaj.
After that, they decided to announce a warning strike for an hour on the date of 13,02,2019, from 8: 00 p.m. to 09: 00 p.m.
They indicated that since the Greek Law at Article 17 recognises air traffic control as vital, during the strike's duration, auditors will provide minimum work process by offering air traffic services to military and ambulance flights to Kosovo.
However, they warned that in the event Kosovo institutions are not responded to our demand for exemption from the civil servant salary law, then union measures and strikes will escalate.
