An adviser to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says the United Nations human rights expert will hear audio recordings of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi's murder as part of an international investigation that has begun in the case.
UN special rapporteur Agnes Callamard and her team of experts were with President Yasin Aktay, a friend of the late journalist Khashoggi.
Aktay told reporters that the team will have access to audio recordings.

Journalist Khashoggi was killed in the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on 2 October.
His bones were not found.
Turkey called for international investigation into the case. The UN team is standing in Turkey and has met with Foreign and Justice Minister and Istanbul's chief prosecutor.
UN experts also visited the area around the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul.
