In a post on the social network Facebook, Lushtaku wrote that without America, Kosovo would have neither Army nor independence.
“How many times we have sacrificed at US request has taken Kosovo well. History and reality tell. Without the United States, we wouldn't even have an army. Ramush Haradinaj, except sacrifices in war, has made sacrifices in peace as well. When asked for Kosovo, he has also left the prime minister's position. I am convinced that taxing has contributed to the sensitivity of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo not to consume Serbian products. I believe the effect has been reached”, wrote Mergim Lushtaku.

Without question, listen to America, tax is suspended
As one of the prime minister's top supporters, as one of those who have given this government my vote and confidence, as a personal and family friend of the AAK chairman I ask Ramush Haradinaj to suspend the tax.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo has given the idea of the tax and has supported its placing on Serbia, which has committed genocide against Albanians.
Since, Kosovo's leading ally, the United States, is demanding a sacrifice from us, we have to listen to it, despite all the arguments we have to continue to keep the tax.
Kosovo, without the support of the United States, would not be next, nor would it give Serbia taxes, nor would it celebrate 11 years of Independence, the establishment of the Army, and many other steps in statehood.
Friendship with the United States of America and Kosovo is permanent and nobody for any price cares about it.
Every time we have sacrificed at the request of the US, Kosovo has fallen well.
I believe the effect has been achieved.
