The Ministry of Infrastructure has reacted to the scriptures for the <x0-2> Arben Xhaferri” highway, denying what KDI calls a 6th extension for the appointment of this highway for 152 days.
“contact to implement the “Arba Xhaferi” project was scheduled to end in January 2018. Seeing that such a thing is impossible, for reasons now known to the public, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport on September 27, 2017, had extended the time for the completion of this project until 31.12.2018, while the expenses for this extension would later be determined”, the MI response reportedly broadcast Periscope.

“After the Kosovo Government's decision of June 5th 2018 on granting 53.1m euros on behalf of the contract of September 27, 2017, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, dated September 5, 2018, has signed a contract annex for determining the pay deadlines of this amount, which is expected to be paid in equal installments by June 1st, 201918x>.
MI emphasises that “does not extend the time of building the “Arba Xhaferi”, but only the payment time”.
MlT remains committed to full implementation of contractual provisions and welcomes continued commitment to the other side to implement the contract.
The following days will become known the causes for delaying the completion of this project and further actions on the delay.
