Erdogan tells Europe: You Are Safe Thanks to Turkey

Republic of Turkey President Recep Tayip Erdoğan said that if the peoples of Europe live in peace, it is thanks to the sacrifice of Turkey and the Turkish people

Erdoğan, made these statements in the rally of the party he leads -- the Justice and Development Party (AK) -- in the town of Kahramanmarş.

“Today, if the peoples of Europe live in peace and security on their lands, that is thanks to the sacrifice of Turkey and the Turkish people. But we will not make that sacrifice forever. Our Syrian brothers in our country have also been homesick. They want to return home as soon as possible”, he stressed.

Furthermore, the Turkish president has stressed that the only place where Syrians return today are countries where Turkey has established security. These are Africa, Jarablus and Idlibi. So far 311,000 Syrian brothers have returned to these” regions, Erdoğan added.

When we will make sure of the eastern Euphrates, millions of Syrians will return to their homes”, he said, demanding that this Turkey effort be supported.

“In this regard we have covered a serious distance with Russia and Iran, Erdoğan indicated, stressing that half a million Syrians expect Turkey to secure the Munbixhi region.
