Election Day refers to the day when general elections are held. In many countries, general elections are always held Sunday to enable voter turnout, while in other countries elections are always held on a weekly day.
However, some countries or regions within a country always make a day of election day a day off, thus meeting both requirements, writes xp.
Many countries allow voting in absence or early voting to be cast by post before elections, thus avoiding the problem altogether.
An election day usually peaks on an election night when election results are listed and winners announced.
Otherwise, Kosovo has scored several times this day, however, the CEC has not announced any activity this time.
