Banking the German company “Germanmania” will allegedly harm tens of thousands of citizens who have booked travel tickets over the coming days and months. Even in recent years, the number of citizens who have fallen victim to avian fraud is suspected to over 100,000

The counterfeiting of the German aviokom company “German German German German German Germanmania” has allegedly damaged tens of thousands of Kosovo citizens who have reserved plane tickets from Germany to Kosovo, as well as vice versa. But this is not the first time that citizens are falling victim to such companies that receive money and do not offer services to citizens. It was the “Bel Air” company, but dozens of other companies, which are suspected to have damaged more than 50,000 citizens who have almost subsequently been repaid. But the last case is suspected that the number of citizens who have fallen victim to such companies may exceed over 100,000. On Monday “Germany” has stopped all flights and applied for bankruptcy because it has not covered a short-term liquidity problem”. This company had transported over four million passengers a year. “] Germania had no other option but to present bankruptcy in the wake of financial trouble”, airline director Karsten Balke said on Tuesday.

Balke: People who bought tickets directly from the company cannot claim alternative travel

The Berlin-based company cancelled all flights and advised passengers to contact their travel agents about alternative arrangements. But, the people who bought their tickets directly from the company “can't unfortunately claim alternative trips”, the company said. Balke blamed the unexpected “circumstances for bankruptcy, such as rising carozine prices, devaluation of the euro against the dollar and unexpected maintenance expenses. “Unfortunately, we were not able to successfully complete our financial efforts to cover a short-term liquidity problem”, he said. No January Balke salaries have been paid, and he apologised to the travelers and commended the employees for their quality work, “and for the tense weeks we just had”. The middle airline flew to about 60 destinations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, transporting more than four million passengers annually.

The damage will be huge.

Also, on Tuesday (now) through an email, the company “Air Pristina” has announced all its fellow workers for bankruptcy of the company “Germani”. We'll announce that tomorrow, Wednesday 6:02.2019, our flights to destinations from Germany and vice versa, due to suspension of operations by Germania. All our flights will be accomplished according to advance plans and schedules that are published online in the system! ” is entered in the email sent to you. But reliable sources suggest that the damage from the bankruptcy of this company will be enormous and will have great consequences on Kosovo citizens. The “Many tickets have been booked over the following months for numerous destinations. At the moment, the company has engaged only two aircraft from Bulgaria, which in no way can cover all destinations that have been sold tickets. The damage will be enormous especially during summer times, when the influx of citizens is markedly rising to Kosovo” said further this reliable source. According to him, the number of reserved tickets could go up to 50,000.

Berisha: We're trying to reduce damage.

Eset Berisha, director of the Kosovo Civil Aviation Authority, says bankruptcy of the company “Germania” is very bad news for the aviation industry. According to him, this has had many flights from Pristina to many cities and vice versa, but the company's decision was to stop flying. “The Ministry of Infrastructure as responsible for the economic aviation regulation will take all measures that, together with the Civil Aviation Authority, reduce the damage that may be done to Kosovo citizens who have already booked tickets at the company in question”, Berisha has said.

Removing the 500 thousand-euro deposit that legalised fraud

Over the past few years, a large number of fraudulent companies managed business with aviobileta, as at the request of the former director of the Pristina International Airport (ANP), the European Commission (KE) has pushed the Transport and Telecommunication Ministry (MTPT) to lift the deposit of 500 thousand euros for companies wishing to fly from this airport. At that time, such an action by the director of Agron Mustafa Airport is seen as a threat to Kosovo citizens who exploit this airport for travel abroad.
