Vetevendosje Movement senior official Arber Zaimi has left no room but to reach agreement with the LDK, or move to early elections.
In a Facebook status, Zaimi has listed 10 points, under which he has reflected possible scenarios, for achieving the coalition with the Democratic League or going to early elections.
Arber Zami's full mail:
1. LV has won the election. Even after recounting and playing fairs, the LV was certified by the CEC as the election winner, the first and largest subject.
2. The LV has a strategic decision not to take subjects from the former PAN government into coalition.
3. That leaves only two possibilities, or the LV government- LDK, or choice. If there is no agreement for the Kurti government, then there won't be a vote for the Speaker of the Parliament, which according to the Constitutional Court ruling belongs exclusively to LV. So without a deal, you're going to the elections.
4. I mean. There is no possibility that the LDK will go into opposition, the only options are either LV-LDK or elections.
5. LV and LDK have voiced and made public pledges during the election campaign that the presidential post will not be included in government negotiations.
6. LV and LDK have publicly expressed and pledged that the prime minister's post belongs to the winning subject and is not part of the government negotiations. This vow came because The LDK refused to accept LV bids for the pre-election coalition.
7. LV and LDK leaders have agreed to have 5 ministries each subject, and the LV chairman has generously offered to make the first choice to the LDK.
8. In addition, the LDK has been offered by the LV and the first deputy prime minister. This is also a concession.
9. The LV chairman has not established any red lines for demands coming from the LDK. But each requirement should be accompanied by an offer. None of the partners can get away without giving anything.
10. Any delay is unnecessary and to the detriment of citizens, who look forward to change, especially in conditions where the background and alternative scenarios are now no longer possible.
